TICAD Games は、スポーツ、文化、科学、技術の総合大会です。剣道、生け花、科学イベントなど、伝統と革新を融合した競技と式典を含みます。

歩み

TICAD サミットゲームズは、TICAD コミュニティの精神を祝福し強化するもので、多くのサミットの慣行に従っています — コモンウェルス・ゲームズ (1930)、フランコフォニー競技大会 (1987)、BRICS ゲームズ (2016)。若者と草の根を TICAD のプロセスに組み込み、ABE イニシアティブ、GHRD、G-STREAMS、GPS Learning、G-PISTE などの教育イニシアティブを補完します。

Budō is the heartbeat of TICAD Games, with Kendō — the way of the sword — at its centre. More than a martial art, Kendō is a philosophical practice that shapes character through respect, discipline, and perseverance. Around the dojo, delegations from across the African continent, Japan, and TICAD Partner countries converge for an exciting program of competitions and people-to-people exchange — a tangible expression of TICAD's mission to foster partnerships, mainstream youth, and build community across nations through shared effort and chivalrous conduct.

The Culture dimension of TICAD Games gathers three quintessential Japanese arts. Ikebana, the art of flower arrangement, is a meditative practice of harmony, balance, and simplicity — each composition capturing the beauty of nature and the changing seasons through the careful placement of stems. Origami, the art of paper folding, transforms a single sheet into intricate forms, embodying precision, creativity, and patience. Taiko, the thunder of Japanese drums, brings the festival to life — a powerful, communal rhythm that has accompanied ceremonies, harvests, and celebrations for centuries, connecting performers and audience in a single heartbeat.

TICAD Gamesは、東京アフリカ開発会議（TICAD）の公式ピープル・トゥ・ピープル事業です。アフリカ・日本・TICADパートナー諸国の選手、学生、文化代表団を、武道・文化・イノベーションの三本柱で結びます。

次回大会はいつどこで？

第2回公式大会は宮崎2026で、チュニジア・日本外交関係樹立70周年を記念します。プログラム日程はTICADの予定とともに発表されます。

主催は？

創設者およびパートナー（チュニジア剣道連盟、AATUJA、日本武道、Mentors Institute、TAKOLOR、ファビア財団 など）による国際委員会が運営しています。

どんな種目がありますか？

中心種目は剣道です。文化部門（生け花・折り紙・太鼓）、武士道シンポジウム、AFJASST des Eaux、代表団間の人的交流も実施されます。

第1回公式大会の開催地は？

第1回公式大会・横浜2025は2025年8月、TICAD9と並行して横浜武道館で開催されました。初の国際剣道大会、武士道シンポジウム、太鼓演奏が行われました。
